Setup

Questions about Stripe

Does KamoCRM replace Stripe Billing, or work alongside?
Works alongside. Stripe handles payment processing, compliance, and tax calculation. KamoCRM displays billing context and orchestrates customer-facing workflows around payments.
Can we handle usage-based billing through Stripe?
Yes. Usage events report to Stripe via their metered billing API (KamoCRM can trigger the events from usage data). Subscriptions display metered consumption on the CRM record.
What about Stripe Connect for marketplace/multi-party payments?
Stripe Connect is supported. Standard, Express, and Custom account types all integrate; commission/fee splits configurable.
Does it handle international payments and multi-currency?
Yes. Stripe's multi-currency support flows through to CRM records. Exchange rates and local payment methods display per customer.
How does PCI compliance work?
Card data never touches KamoCRM. All payment methods are tokenized by Stripe; KamoCRM stores only the last-4 and expiration for display purposes.
